Alarm wins at the 2016 MemCom Awards
Alarm has been named the winner of ‘Best overall marketing achievement by a smaller professional body’ at the 2016 MemCom awards.
An award which recognises the good work that smaller professional bodies do for their members and sector, Alarm was selected as the winner for its efforts in continually adapting to meet Members’ changing professional development needs, assisting public service organisations during this period of unprecedented change. Networking, Seminars and CPD related training all score highly as Member benefits. Alarm was also commended for taking a broader industry view with the Alarm report, The risk success story: improving performance in risk management, which compares the performance and progress of risk management from 2010 to 2015.
Welcoming the news, Alarm Chairman, Wayne Rigby said: "I am delighted that Alarm has been recognised for this award which highlights our commitment to the membership. Alarm has been focusing on delivering its business plan priorities over the last year and to see this hard work acknowledged provides support for the activities Alarm has undertaken, for the benefit of Members and our profession. I would like to extend my thanks to everyone involved in running the organisation, without them this would not be possible."
Speaking of Alarm's award entry, MemCom concludes: "This excellent entry gave clear evidence of a membership organisation that, with limited resources, really catered well for its membership and its sector."
