PLANEX
· A
bibliographic and abstracts database compiled by the IDOX
Information Service over a period of almost 30 years. It covers all
the subject areas of local public policy and governance, such as:
economic development, town and country planning, housing, urban and
rural regeneration, transport, tourism and leisure, property
development, environment and nature conservation, education and
training, social work and local government management.

contained in PLANEX are for journal articles, books, semi-published
materials such as policies, strategies, plans, guidance, and

Performance Management, Measurement
and Information project (PMMI)

Performance Management, Measurement and Information project
(PMMI), is part of the strategic collaboration between the IDeA and
the Audit Commission and is designed to bring performance
management together in a whole new, more effective and more
consistent way. The PMMI site has a wealth of information, guidance
and case studies and links on performance management from
performance management culture, the role of leaders to the
essentials of effective performance management frameworks.

of the project is to develop a common approach and language on
performance management in all areas of work, from publications to
