This new report from Alarm details the outcomes of the Alarm Wales Seminar held 22 May 14, which explored the risk and insurance implications of organisational restructuring, either internally or involving two or more organisations via voluntary or compulsory mergers. The overarching lesson from the seminar was that restructuring can be achieved successfully, but it requires careful planning, with leaders at all levels taking informed decisions and communicating clearly with colleagues and partners. The learning from this seminar will provide risk managers with information to help colleagues make informed decisions and demonstrate their value to their organisations.
