Alarm and LGC Team Up on Events

Alarm, the public risk management association, has
entered into a joint initiative with Local Government Chronicle to
present two one day events.
Risk Management in Public Sector Partnerships
on Thursday 20th May will help delegates to learn how to
integrate and embed risk management into their Local Area Agreement
and establish effective governance arrangements for partnerships.
This event is also an opportunity to hear the results of the Alarm
2009 Risk Management Survey.
For those new into risk management The Fundamentals of
Risk Management on Wednesday 19th May offers
the opportunity to attend a jargon-free introduction to the complex
process of risk management.
Dr Lynn Drennan, CEO of Alarm, said “Alarm is pleased to be
working with LGC on these two events which will be a great
opportunity for those working within the public sector to learn
about embedding risk management and equipping the public sector for
the future”.
