Alarm, the public risk management association has today
published a report on the Alarm / CIPFA Risk Management
Benchmarking Club 2010, which includes an overview of the outcomes
of this year’s exercise. The Report waspublished as Alarm and CIPFA
launched the 2011
Alarm / CIPFA Risk Management Benchmarking
Club following a successful, initial year, which saw
117 public service organisations joining the scheme.
The Club is the result of collaboration between Alarm and
CIPFA and is based on Alarm’s
National Performance Model for Risk Management in Public
Services published in 2009. Membership of the
Benchmarking Club provides access to a performance measurement tool
which was initially conceived by an Alarm Special Interest Group,
comprising professional, practising risk managers, and developed
into its final version in collaboration with leading risk
management consultants, Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
