Drug trafficking? People
smuggling? Money laundering? Whatever their business, organised
criminals cost the UK some £40 billion every year. By keeping ahead
of the criminals, the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) will
disrupt and destroy their complex networks and make the UK the most
difficult place for them to operate.
An exciting opportunity
has arisen within the corporate assurance department for a risk
manager. In this role, you will develop, manage and embed a robust
organisation wide risk management framework, in a manner that
supports the good governance of SOCA and contributes to the
Accounting Officers ability to sign off SOCA’s annual statement on
internal control.
You will have a nationally
or internationally recognised risk management or related
qualification. You will have proven experience of continuing
professional development, including a good up-to-date knowledge of
best practice across the full range of risk management and
associated activities.
If you think that you have
something to offer SOCA in this area, that will contribute to the
fight against serious and organised crime throughout the UK, please
