which took place at the Latimer Conference Centre on 9th
and 10th November.

On!- Bookings
Open!
The 2011 Alarm South East Conference on
9th and 10th November will feature workshops and
plenary sessions delivered by a combination of high profile
experienced speakers and practitioners. By closely montoring and
controlling costs the South East Committee has been able to keep
the cost of a full residential delegate place at £350 + VAT for the
third year running. The conference will take place at The Latimer
Centre, Buckinghamshire.

Alarm South East Conference - More Details Announced
The 2011 Alarm South East Conference on 9th and 10th November will

Alarm South East Conference goes off with a
BANG!
The eleventh Alarm South East
Conference was held at Latimer Place, Chesham on Wednesday 3rd and
Thursday 4th November.
The Committee members worked extremely
hard to arrange a varied programme with topical presentations and
workshops including Strategic Procurement, Fraudulent Claims,
Managing Financial Risks, Winter Maintenance, Risks in
Children's play provision, Collaborative Working and Police/LA
event liaison for the Isle of Man TT Races to name a few.

| On Wednesday evening delegates got together for an evening of
networking and entertainment starting with dinner, a fireworks
spectacular, a quiz and raffle with proceeds going to LUPUS UK – a charity supporting
people with, and those approaching diagnosis, systemic lupus and
discoid lupus. Thank you to all of you who participated for your
generosity and to our Corporate Sponsors for their generous
contributions towards the charity raffle prizes. We are pleased to
announce that the raffle raised £946.90 for this worthy cause.

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Charles
Morris, who has been recognised for
his distinguished record of achievement in public risk
management and support for Alarm over a considerable period of
time. Charles, pictured with Alarm Chair Tracey
Barnett, was awarded an Alarm Honorary Lifetime
membership at the South East Conference on 3rd November.
