Membership Types and Fees
2012 Membership fees are as follows:
Individual Member - £140 +
VAT
Any individual working in the delivery of public
service risk management either directly employed or through a
strategic partnership or equivalent, in a not for profit
organisation.
Group Member - £700 +
VAT
Any public sector or not-for-profit organisation
which is willing and able to contribute to the aims and objectives
of the organisation. The annual fee is for 6 named
members.
Affiliate Individual Member - £280 +
VAT
Any individual working in, or those whose
business is associated with, the field of risk management outside
the public and not-for-profit sectors, who is willing and able to
contribute to the aims and objectives of the organisation.
Affiliate Group - £1,400 +
VAT
Any organisation or body, outside the public or
not-for-profit sectors, working in, or whose business is associated
with, the field of risk management, who is willing and able to
contribute to the aims and objectives of the organisation. The
annual fee is for 6 named members.
Retired / Non-active member - £70 +
VAT
Any person who has been a member of Alarm for at
least the previous 5 years (or in special circumstances, such
shorter period as determined by the Board), who has retired or is
not currently active in gainful employment and who is willing and
able to contribute to the aims and objectives of the
organisation.
Student /
Unemployed Member - FREE
Any
person currently studying full time for a recognised risk
management degree or who has been made redundant from their
currenty position and is actively seeking re-employment in the
public sector.
Membership fees are used by Alarm to further the objectives of the organisation.
