Chief Executive, Alarm
Dr Lynn Drennan joined Alarm as Chief Executive in August 2006.
She started her career in insurance, with the Eagle Star Group, and
then spent 19 years at Glasgow Caledonian University, where she was
Head of the Division of Risk and Executive Director of the Cullen
Centre for Risk and Governance. Dr Drennan has published widely in
risk management journals and co-authored two books – Reputational
Risk – a question of trust and Risk and Crisis Management in the
Public Sector.
Prior to taking up the post of Alarm Chief Executive, Dr Drennan
served as a co-opted member of the Alarm Council from 1999-2002 and
has acted as a judge on the Annual Awards scheme
since 2000.
